Greg Goldberg (aka DJ GREG G. LA) comes from a musical family and has been playing instruments since a young age. He has been a part of the Los Angeles dance music scene since 1996 and began DJing in 1997. He founded and ran his own event production company, Enlighten Entertainment from 1998-2003. The first event he produced was “Translucent” in 1998, with artists John Kelly, Jason Blakemore, Jesse Brooks and Thomas Michael.

He soon went on to produce the weekly after-hours event “The Realm” (Hollywood, CA) located on Hollywood and Vine from 2000-2001, featuring a wide variety of Los Angeles and out of state talent playing every Friday. As a DJ he also worked the rave/club circuit on a regular basis, playing, House of Blues, Orion, Fox Theatre, Henry Fonda Theatre, Vanguard, the Tropicana, the Masterdome, Florentine Gardens, Hollywood Athletic Club, NOS Events Center, Los Angeles Sports Arena, Tekno Club and all the regular LA area hot spots.

In 2001 Enlighten Events partnered up with NU-NRG and produced “Needle Damage” in Los Angeles. The following year, in 2002, DJ GREG G. LA talented coordinated “Atlantis”, held at ORION, which was the first sold out event at this venue, with Eddie Flashin Fowlkes and DJ Reza 2×4 Lenny V. headlining the event. He also released his mix tape “Tranzit Haus” the same year.

In 2002, DJ GREG G. LA performed at massive events such as “Audiotistic” & “NRG” (Channel 36 productions) & “Monster Massive” (Go-Ventures) and also worked production and stage-managing for Go-Ventures. In 2002 DJ GREG G. LA released his next mix CD to great critical acclaim, “Breaking Down the House” which was sold at all the major record stores in Los Angeles.

2003 was a very active year for DJ GREG G. LA, he played the rave circuit, and performed at “Together as One”(Go-Ventures & Insomniac) 2003 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, went to Hawaii (Honolulu) with the Go-Ventures to perform at “Coastal Collective” with “DJ Reza, Donald Glaude, DJ Irene, G-Spot & DJ Ikon.”  He also preformed at the “Winter Music Conference” in Miami Florida at the Shelborne Hotel & was playing the club/after hours circuit in Las Vegas Nevada. GREG G. LA performed at the “Vans Warp Tour in Ventura, CA. After a very busy 2003, DJ GREG G. LA returned for another performance at “Together as One” (Go-Ventures & Insomniac) in 2004 with his sister, vocalist “Jennifer Lauren.”

In November of 2003 DJ GREG G. LA took his years of experience with production, promotion and DJing and created the Rum-Jungle night club in Ventura County CA under “Something Fresh Entertainment.” “Rum-Jungle” became the first and largest production in the area, outgrowing its first venue (the Borderline Bar & Grill, Thousand Oaks, CA) and after expanding to its new venue, The Canyon Club, Agoura CA, reached an audience of 1000 patrons per week. “Rum-Jungle” ran from 2003-2005. There were a number of special events that were produced under “Something Fresh Entertainment”: Summer Jam 2 with the “Spazmatics”, Summer Jam 3 with “Vanilla Ice & Jennifer Lauren,” Summer Jam 4 with “DJ Z-Trip”, “Monster Mash” Halloween extravaganza with the “Spazmatics” DJ Jason Splat, and DJ GREG G. LA which sold out. In 2005 DJ GREG G. LA produced and hosted the event “Countdown” in Agoura Hills CA, with headliner “Berlin”, featuring Terri Nunn,” which sold out.

In 2005 Something Fresh Entertainment produced a new weekly called “Midnight Fashions” which was a weekly fashion show with beautiful models and clothing sponsors with the hottest DJs. This was a full-scale production and a new venture combining high fashion, music and entertainment in the same evening.

From 2006-2008 “Something Fresh Entertainment” promoted the largest Thursday night 80’s dance party “FLASHBACK” with the live band the “Spazmatics.” DJ GREG G. LA was the resident DJ. This merged Ventura County and Los Angeles County together and created an epic dance scene, combining live 80’s favorites with the hottest club bangers.

In 2009-2014 DJ GREG G. LA returned to his roots DJing House music in the Los Angeles club and after-hours venues. He also created his own private DJ service for special events.

In 2014, DJ GREG G. LA joined forces with long time friend DJ Eric Jerome and Slade House and they formed the NachtFalken DJ Trio. Eric Jerome and DJ GREG G. LA also released the track “Dunk Dack” under the SEED music.

2019 – GREG G. LA, Something Fresh Entertainment, Rum-Jungle & Borderline Bar & Grill promoted the special event “Halloween Hoe Down.” The event had 2 large stages the: Outdoor Tomb & Indoor Crypt. Featuring DJ’s playing country hits, top-40, hip-hop, mash-ups, remixes, EDM and classic dance jams all night long.

2024- Friday June 21st. *Summer Jam Beach Party- Greg G. LA, Something Fresh Entertainment & Rum-Jungle are promoting & producing the return of the Summer Jam Beach Party with the headliner Hypercrush (live), DJ Greg G. b2b DJ Noel, DJ Shanto, CleverDJ b2b DJ Defcon, DJ 007, DJ Inferno & DJ DT, with MC Vitality, located at the beautiful Canyon Club in Agoura Hills with 1000 person capacity venue with the largest dance floor in the Conejo Valley. Don’t miss this special one night for the return of Rum-Jungle’s Mega Club.
